Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Web Designer to join our team. As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing visually appealing and user-friendly websites. Your expertise in content management systems (CMS), Bootstrap, and Shopify will be crucial in creating websites that align with our clients’ needs and business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop visually appealing and user-friendly websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into website designs.
• Utilize your knowledge of content management systems (CMS) to implement and maintain website content and structure efficiently.
• Create responsive website layouts using Bootstrap, ensuring optimal user experience across various devices and screen sizes.
• Develop custom themes and templates for Shopify-based e-commerce websites, considering the client’s branding and design guidelines.
• Conduct regular website updates and enhancements, ensuring that the websites are up to date, functional, and visually appealing.
• Perform website testing and debugging to identify and fix any issues or errors in design or functionality.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, design standards, and best practices to continuously improve the quality of website designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and content creators, to ensure seamless integration of design elements and functionality.
• Provide guidance and support to junior designers, sharing your expertise in CMS, Bootstrap, and Shopify.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Web Designer or similar role.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong knowledge of content management systems (CMS), with experience in implementing and maintaining website content.
• Experience in designing responsive website layouts using Bootstrap.
• Familiarity with Shopify and the ability to develop custom themes and templates.
• Excellent understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.
• Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility and web accessibility standards.
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for visual design aesthetics.
• Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Sketch.
  Knowledge of front-end frameworks like React or Angular.
• Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
